Back to the atlas

1. Controller

EpicCord DevTeam is responsible for the data EpicCord processes. Contact: devepiccord@gmail.com.

2. Data we store

  • Your Discord user ID, to link your progress to you.
  • Game data: your character’s power and stats, level, experience, gold, items, Sacros, team, and trade and battle history.
  • Server data: the IDs of the server and channel where you use the bot.

The bot has no access to your email, your password or your direct messages, so it never stores them.

3. Channel messages

For quick quests, the bot reads messages in the channels it can access: it counts how many are sent and checks whether someone typed a quest answer. That content is processed on the spot and not stored.

4. Artificial intelligence

When you register a character, the description you write is sent to Google’s Gemini API to generate its power and stats. Narrated duels also send the participants’ usernames and stats. We keep only the result, meaning the power and stats. Depending on the plan we use, Google may use that content to improve its products; see Google’s privacy policy. Please keep personal data out of your description for that reason.

5. Why we use it

To run the game, show rankings and stats inside Discord, prevent abuse and improve game balance, and never to sell it or for advertising.

6. Who it is shared with

  • Discord, the platform the bot runs on.
  • Google, for the AI generation described above.
  • Oracle Cloud, which hosts the server and the database.

These providers may process data outside your country.

7. This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising, and its fonts are served from the site itself. Cloudflare, which hosts it, processes technical data from each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

If you trace your constellation, the line you write is processed only in your browser and never sent to any server. So that the atlas remembers it next time, it is kept in your browser’s local storage; you can remove it with the “Remove from this browser” button or by clearing the site’s data.

8. Retention

While you play. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove it from the live database and it leaves our backups within 30 days.

9. Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your data by writing to devepiccord@gmail.com from the affected Discord account or with your Discord user ID. We reply within 30 days.

10. Children

EpicCord is not intended for anyone below the minimum age Discord requires. If you believe we hold data from someone under that age, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security and changes

We protect data with reasonable measures: restricted server access and credentials kept out of the code. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with its date.
